Really? I've just read she's being offered a judges spot on the x factor?

No sympathy from me. She made her bed, now she can lay in it. If someone wants to self abuse then they get what they deserve. I don't care who they are or what the circumstances were that led to it.

So she's on the X factor?

Sympathy for her loved ones but not for her. What a waste. I care less about Whitney Houston dying than starving children across the world. Sad for her family but there are people more deserving of our attention.

She’s left a fantastic legacy of songs and that is all that matters in the end. Her vocals are possible the best that ever graced this earth and many a time I’ve enjoyed dancing to her tunes in a nightclub.

I do hope that some people here would be able to assure the rest of us that they do not own or have never enjoyed any cultural work by any artist (of any era) who took any form of drug?



After all, they wouldn't want be called hypocrites, would they?

It's not right, but it's OK.

If people want to drink too much, smoke too much and take drugs, that's up to them. But when they die because of it, they deserve no sympathy what so ever.

Why is that hypocritical? liking somebody's music/writing/film has nothing to do with a lack of sympathy for a self inflicted death? These are two separate issues that should be treated as such.



It must be tough sitting in your pool crying about how bad your lot is and why you not getting the attention you think you should!! bit like an abused child crying in their bedroom - let's get some perspective here?
