Pure speculation, but Sam was spotted at the Widnes-Batley game today. He's played for Widnes in the past, obviously, but could he be about to join their Super League crusade? Might simply be an innocent trip to see old frends on a Sunday off, but could there be more to his attendance? He's got the talent to make a decent go at the highest level, thats for sure.

I would have no problem with him trying his luck in Super League. However he needs to step it up a bit on this season's performances. Not the same player he was last year BUT still has great potential.

Has he? I thought so at the end of last season but he has been poor for the most of this season. He will be lucky to get a new contract at Fax on his performances this year let alone a SL team.

Not more speculation.With all these rumours Widnes must have over 100 players.

If we can not get players from Superleague i want the best from the Championship.

I really hope not. We need SL props to be honest after the players we have retained in the forwards. Hes an Ok player in this league but from what i've seen, he's nothing great and tends to give quite a few penalties away

Kavanagh,Pickers,Cross,Varks, and Mullaly are better props than Barlow.But i think he is a Secondrower and i prefer others over him in our squad.

Think it's more to do with Batley being our next game!!

TBF we have a few quality young back rowers so couldn't see this happening, don't think his attitude here impressed last time either!



The lad at times can look absolutely brilliant but everyone knows he's a bit of a ticking time bomb and hence gets targeted a bit too.

Barlow has definatly signed a super league contract according to my friend who supports the team in question. He was seen talking with their coach/chairman at their stadium.



Can definate make sep up but needs cut out penalties and needs to try more. good luck to him
