Im in.... Didnt think i could get angry over what was a forgone conclusion but the results defnatley changed the landscape.

I know the club cannot sue the RFL. But a group of fans can. At the very least you would get to see the applications and publicise them.

For me too. FWIW i think the club should get a copy of wakeys Franchise bid both this year and last SL license and compare, They could get this using the freedom of information act, If some UFO nerd can get stuff from the american government re area 51 then i am sure the club could get a copy of these, Scrutinise, ask the questions and then pull them to pieces. I dont care how much money the RFL have, a stand must be taken here.

Without resorting to insults and torrents of abuse I have allready emailed my disgust with the people at Redhall over todays announcement.

I think you would mean the Data Protection Act, as the RFL are not a public body and therefore not covered under the Freedom of Information Act. However to get information under the Data Protection Act it has to be directly related to you. So Halifax RLFC could only get their own submission and any other information directly reporting on it. They wouldn't be able to get Wakefields report or submission under this act.

No i would mean the freedom of information act, The DPA covers individuals, and you are refering to a subject access request. The Bid should not have information relating to individuals but the club itself, If you can get information from companies house regarding their finances then i am sure the club could get a copy of the license application under the FOIA. IS RFL not a public body then ?. it is the governing body of RL in this country and therfore surely must be answerable and accountable.

I'm in.. Never written a comlaint email but am currently doing so!!

If there's anything I can contribute, I'm definitely in.

I am not sure it will make a blind bit of difference. I am still waiting for responses to e-mails sent to the RFL. I have written 2 or 3 times over the last year or so and I have never received a single response, not even an acknowledgement.

Well we have a solicitor on the board so i guess someone could speak to him for advice on anything the fans can do..........
