Sam Barlow was outstanding today.

hmmm I thought the effort today was superb. Barlow ran his blood to water and did an amazing stint, Penky looked really class and was the catalyst for a lot of the tries, Worrincy ran well and Cherryholme really worked hard. Never really thought we'd win, but all I wanted was a competitive display and I got much more than that. Not really sure what else they could have done.



Great effort from everyone, very proud. Club did a great job also with the pre-match, for all intents and purposes looked a real super league outfit today.

Lets do it again next Sunday with more defence & less errors and penalties

I think others would like Fev and Leigh.You are near the bottom of the league because you are poor.To be honest watching the game i would have fancied our crap team.

We have been shocking this season thats why we are near the bottom of the league I agree but today we stepped it up a bit ok granted we still made silly mistakes.

To be honest i would have liked Fax to beat Bradford today.You did ok and come the end of the season you may scrape 5th or 6th in the league.I just thought bradford dropped alot of ball and Fax did mate.Anyway at least you can concentrate on the league and NR Cup now.

It was like a trip to the Circus , some quite brilliant individual and group play followed by comic cuts , Bradford got the ' rub ' from the ref with constantly stepping off the mark and a good few forward passes ,



It was like watching the Benny Hill show , entertaining , funny and occasionally cringeworthy

the interception if they doesnt happen were within 6, if we hadnt let them score on that last tackle play donw the wing which i have no idea how he managed to get free, then we are level. poor defending and a brain explosion which penky has sometimes and we were in the game.



Defense again wasnt too good today, the better players and full time players meant they were going to score some points but we could have prevented at least 2 of them tries quite easily.



good to have another derby though, if a game between Halifax and Bradford isnt going to pull the fans in then nothing will, just over 5,000 for a game like that isnt really good enough,. especially seen as though we havent had a game like that for 8 years

Worrying isn't it? Even despite our form - this tie should have pulled in 7,000. Something big needs to happen to re-ignite RL in the town of Halifax. Marketing on that scale is costly. I'm not so sure we'd get an average of 4,000 if we got back into SL?
