Not gauranteed to sign for you on his return. Has a couple of offers on the table from elsewhere and your league position and choice of first team coach will determine what he does. His Dad has a big say on where he will go. So if you want him your descision makers will have to get close to his Dad. |

Fairbank ...his best game for us following a strong display at Fev

Cherryholme... clearly done some work on his legs to get more drive.
Mentions to Bannister and Patterson for their try saving tackles
Thought Henderson played very well for Sheffield and probably just shaded Penky today.
Cant fault Miles for effort but needs to change his attacking runs to straight line rather than an outside curve ....untill his pace comes back. Close decision now for fullback against Leigh ....Jones or Miles? Probably depends if Black is fit/prepared to put in a better performance than against Fev.
Goddard....looked sharp and in better shape than he has for a while. Which gives the coach the option for Nash in the pack (or saying get yourself fit before I pick you again) ....if only we could get Nash to adopt Goddards/Pattersons fitness lifestyle we might actually really see what Nash is capable of.There is no doubt he has the ability but his fitness must be making Calland and Nobby seriously consider if he merits his place in front of the likes of Chandler (hatrick for u23s).
A match in hindsight we were a tad lucky to win (Sheffield not kicking the penalty for a draw!!) .....but well done for digging in as a team and grinding it out .
