Gutted, that was poor. Reminds me of the back end of last season. Its too late now to bring in anyone of much quality but next season we need a new half back pairing, its not working, and a hooker but we knew that at the begining of the season anyway. For me our pack and some of our backs are good enough but our halfs and 9`s are probably one of the worst combos in the league without Murrell.

Agree plus a centre that can pass! Oh and another speedy winger.

I would like to understand how our long range try got disallowed? o'k the reason seemed to be how we won the ball in the first place resulting in a penalty for a high tackle.

My point?

Did the ref see the high tackle but think "they aren't going to score so I will let it go"

Did he see it at all and then get a whisper in his mike, "best review that"

I may be well out of touch, but, wasn't the video ref first brought in to verify the touch down and then later on to see if someone was off side?

Not sure it is wise to use it for something which might or might not have happened at the other end of the pitch.

One thing for sure, if that game hadn't been televised we would have won.

So another point, how can sport have technology in one game and not in another.

We are now suffering from poor recruitment this season. Neither Ashall is good enough and I'm still not a fan of Thackeray, no guile or organisation which you need from your halves. How the hell Rettie gets paid to play RL is beyond me. Without Murrell we look very ordinary boring and predictable. Allegedly we had enough quality to cover injuries last week, now the excuses re injuries are being used. Very Poor tonight and going backwards on the field???
