As for the Game today , I think the Napoli Boys will have to much speed for the Tongans , it should be a great Game , Charlie was very impressed with the Tongan no 3 at the LSV on Tuesday , but we have the Classy Minichellos to spur us on .Ariva Derci ,Charlie knows .

I think the one thing that everyone can agree with is that the World Cup has been a resounding success exceeding our wildest expectations. I have to admit that when Italy v Tonga was announced for the Shay I expected 4,000 at best. A 10,300 sellout has exceeded all my expectations!



Once the World Cup is over we simply must keep the momentum going and ride the wave. By that I mean get the RFL and ALL the clubs together, lock them in a room and don't let them out until they have resolved their differences and reached agreement on the future of the game in the UK.



The game is currently on a high and if they miss this opportunity I really do fear for the future of RL in the northern hemisphere.

One thing from today, I reckon I "christened" the seat I was in (along with a few other folk around me). Back row of block A - I can't see anyone having sat there before!

Joking apart, North Stand left hand corner, looking at it from the south stand, quite a few spaces available, West Stand many seats unoccupied, was it elf and safety by the council?

A few people round me remarked on this.

South stand was rammmed!

Defo lot's of spaces around in the West and North Stands. Even the South Stand could take a few more on the fringes.



I seem to remember seeing somewhere (on one of the World Cup sites) that the capacity was over 14,000. That would be a realistic number if all the spaces were filled, but as we know, there's more to stadium capacity than just the terracing/seats available.

I thnk you'll agree that it was a great achievement, but it is something only HRLFC can dream about. Neither club will ever get 10,000+ for a game.
