Wally only played one game against Halifax and that was at Thrum Hall on 12/02/84 in the Challenge Cup. He scored two tries that day on the last of his ten games for Wakefield in a 19 - 7 win .

Yes he certainly showed his class that. Seem to remember more raw power than finesse for at least one of his tries, but the memory does fade as one gets older.
