So why didn't we sack him as soon as he got done by the rfl. Bizarre that we didnt then let him go at end of season. But then again KH never seemed to like him. Lets face it he would pick the cart horse Rettie before him. We went from having wingers who scored 20+ tries season each and returned the ball quickly to wingers who seem to just make up the numbers.

I think Potts is a cracking winger, just seems unfit or low on confidence at the moment. Can't have been easy playing as a winger for KH.

plus the fact that he wasn't picked on merit for the first few games this year. Any lad who scores a hattrick on debut away at Cas can't be three bad. |

Rob has his weaknesses but he is the last Fax player that can get an 80 metre try and is a proven finisher and a top bloke I wish he was still a Fax player a good ambassador for the club his betting apart! |

Agree Potts is an excellent winger, just vastly under utilised on that right wing. We predominantly attack towards the left or down the middle and every other team in the league knows we are weak on that left side and exploit it. Potts barely gets a touch of the ball.
I am starting to feel really sorry for Brown, he had a good season at Batley last year but is not hacking it this year and it is getting painful to watch. I am all for giving players a chance rather than the KH one bad game and you are dropped approach....but this is awful. What is the story with Saxton he has been seemingly available for selection for the last 3 weeks ?

Tommy was reported as available for last week after recovering from a back injury but whether he had a reaction to it or RM just stuck with the same backline as Wakefield is unknown.
Prior to that he was injured, even Tommy has not been playing to his usual standard by his own admission so far this year.
Potts looks good in some games showing some strength and pace as he brings the ball out but does go missing in other games.
Alex has not had the best of starts and on Sunday was exposed by Sam Smeaton getting the better of Chris Taylor and having to move in as extra cover, Rob just had to wait for the pass and stroll over.
