| Why the hell are the RFL so bent and incompetent? Who do Wood and Lewis answer to? We have the RFL involved in Visa Scandals at Crusaders. We have them make a total mess of the Challenge Cup Draw. We have Match Officials who clearly are not being helped or guided by the RFL and Stuart Cummins. We have them badly organize Fixture list that see´s teams go 4 or 5 weeks without a home game!!!Now we have them lieing about Toulouse entry to SL. Have expansion in Wales. Londoe and France. But least have all the teams follow the same rules and knowing what is required of them!
The RFL do not care that a large number of people have lost interest or are losing interest in the game below SL Level. They do not care that people are walking away from the game, due to the RFL´s incompetence and how it has upset many fans. The sooner Wood and Lewis go the better. As said how can Lewis, Wood and co get away with such stupidity, deceitfulness and not have to answer for the decisions they make?

That's the problem. It isn't a "large" number in their eyes. The small number of people watching the game below SL level are expendable.

That's just a rehash of what's on here and in the LE. I'm waiting for RFL's awe inspiring statement

| When we get refused a franchise by the RFL we should just resign from the competition en masse and create a new sport, say Rugby with proper scrums or 7 point tries and one point conversions, pick a load of the choicer amateur teams to come with us and let SL have what they want, just SL, then we ban all our players for making the switch to RL on pain of sine die suspensions which effectively dries up a SL player recruitment pool, do a deal with the Aussies and make friends with the RU so we can piggyback on the RFU's off field nous. Then of course we get someone who knows what they are doing to sort out the mess I made.
But seriously, all of us below SL should resign from the competition and just tell the RFL where to go, then start again ala 1895.

We can't afford to do any of that unfortunately. And i say "we" meaning the collective mob that exist outside Super League.

Those are pretty much the exact words to a work Colleague when I read an article on the BBC forum about it....
Our job is to make the decision as hard as we can for the Red Hall numptys. If we're the standout team of the competition over the next few years then even if they do screw us over once more, it'll be painfully obvious to the RL world that they've bugg ered up.

| Surely the Championship clubs can do something about this? If it was agreed that Toulouse had to meet the criteria set out for the rest of the Championship clubs in order to be in a position to apply for a franchise (or whatever false name you wish to call it) then aren't the RFL in contravention of this agreement by allowing Toulouse to make an application? And, if indeed, Toulouse were actually informed that they would be allowed to make an application over 12 months ago regardless of whether they met the criteria or not; is that not also in contravention of the agreement? Where do the Championship clubs stand legally on these issues? I would expect ALL the Championship clubs to make a vociferous opposition en masse to the RFL, unless they knew this would happen all along, and in that case, IMO, they are as guilty as the RFL.

| The problem is the criteria for the next round of Super League franchises isn't set in stone. They have announced several times the final criteria hasn't been set up yet. All the RFL have to comply with is one team from the championship will come up and that a team in the championship in order to apply has to get to a grand final or win NR Cup. However who says that there isn't another criteria that says a foreign team can apply for super league without meeting this criteria. That way they just move around the initial problem.

| Gotta love some people who follow our sport ...................... supposedly.
Quote Noel Cleal="Noel Cleal"They have left themselves looking a bit daft by not coming out and saying this was the case when they made up the winning the grand final rule.
Someone else accused me of missing the point. Surely the point is that established clubs i.e. Featherstone, Leigh etc are wasting what little money they (and the rfl) have coming up with proposals for a Superleague place they are never going to get.
The RFL are defending these clubs from themselves. Their pi$$ poor PR is a side issue.'"

| Like they were saying on the Widnes board. Widnes Vs Fax game in a couple weeks would be a good opportunity to put the fans feelings across?
