| What I don't get it, while we may have been worse than Wakey (ha!) that we didn't even get a C license.
Has the way that's done changed etc now as well?
I thought you only need 4 points to get a grade C license all of which, for us, would be covered by the stadium (and what comes with a good stadium) alone.

| I'm afraid that's me done. Moving to uni in September and on top of everything else, I just don't want to be a part of this sport anymore. If they kick that big eared naive prat and co out, i'll gladly reconsider.
But at the end of the season i'm done. I wish the club all the best and thank them for all their efforts, its a great club and they deserve so much more.

| It's all in the wording. All they said is we weren't awarded a =#FF0000'C' License, not that we didn't get a =#FF0000'C' grade.
The RFL covered their backs the other day by saying details of each bid would not be made public after the announcement. So Halifax could have got a 'B' grade for all we know. What we didn't get was a Super League License, not that we didn't get a 'C' grade. We must have got a 'C' at least because the RFL said we met the super league criteria back in March.

| Quote don't do it again or you'll get a spanked bottomso what incentive does this give to Cas and Wakey to spend a shed load of money on a new stadium'"
Perhaps they are on their final final final "don't do it again or you'll get a spanked bottom" warning now

That makes no sense.... so it's probably correct
Halifax really need to rock the boat and smack some people with the paddles here with this decision. I'd say with the amount of fans the Club will lose on the back of this they've got nothing to lose. Get the media on side for a start starting with the folk at SSN. Every time something to do with Rugby League is on they look at each other with a 'Is this game serious!?' look. Yer man doing it this morning is clearly using all his strength to not just go 'WTF!?' at the screen.

| I can understand why people are angry - I am too. But is saying we're done with RL the answer. That'll only hurt the club when they need our support more than ever! Then when we don't have the crowds the RFL can throw that back at us!

| All this backs up is that the RFL is a complete joke. They messed up when they left Widnes out last time for the Crusaders. Now they'd rather have their exclusive club filled with finacially unstable teams then admit their mistakes.

| I feel for you guys. We went through this at Leigh when we missed out to let the Celtic Crusaders in last time around. And what a raging success that has been!!! We weren't even allowed to include the LSV in our bid, so all this talk of facilities and stadia is mostly rubbish.
In my opinion the only thing that this licensing does is allow the RFL to have no back bone.
On a selfish note...I am glad Halifax are still in the Ch with us - Hopefully we will have more games against each other like the NRC final last week.

| well nigel wood is on bbc look north tonight to be interviewed by Harry Gration.
I would start by by sending an e-mail off to Look North to say how disgusted you are with the decision and then say how people would donate to a legal fund to fight this disgraceful decision
and if you were really angry you could stand at the gates at the BBC to speak to himself in person

| My sympathies. 3 years ago they put Crusaders in over Leigh, with Dick Lewis spouting complete bull to justify his decision.
This time you have all got the short end of the stick.
You are a great set of fans and don't deserve this.

| I have no interest in watching three more years of pointless rugby. Slowly watching as my friends drift away from the game one by one, standing in the south stand which even now is devoid of the atmosphere it once had. There is no avoiding the fact that this club will not survive if we loose the same amount of fans between now and 2016 as we did between 2008 and now.

I wouldn't bother, Harry Gration hates Halifax more then the RFL. Expect him to help Lewis through the interview tonight with easy questions. Mainly about how keeping Wakefield in would help their situation, blah, blah, blah.
