Despite the efforts by Fev, any club that has to take the precautions that Fev currently do is a sad state of affairs. I've always said I won't ever attend a game at POR again and I won't be breaking my decision tomorrow. C'mon Fax!!

I will not be attending either but I will be praying for a Fax win and hope all Fax fans have a safe and enjoyable day out.

The thing that really p!$$e$ me off about this whole crowd situation is, and i really don't blame anyone for not going because of the intimidation side of things is that it really does hand the advantage to the home side, we're talking about a rugby league stadium that's the modern day equivalent of a no-go area here !!!

Anyone who's visited there recently, or watched their high profile games on tv over the last month will know that there's a fair old atmosphere created by the home support. I just hope that the lads who wear the Halifax kits 1-17 on the pitch do themselves justice & play like they're supposed to do otherwise it'll be a long afternoon over there today. If thie Fev lot get their tails up & get a roll on we might be in trouble, but if we can grind out a result it might just quieten the home crowd down.

I'm still very much un-decided what to do about going to the game this aft, I've other stuff I could & should really be doing so i'll make a decision whether or not to travel at lunchtime-ish.

I really do think that some of the Fev fans and their club management are trying to rid their club of the undesirable elements that hang onto their club's name from the things I'm hearing & reading, but it appears to be still sufficient of a deterrent for visiting fans to find other entertainment instead of risking whatever might come their way by going to the games there, especially Fax fans & some Leigh fans we spoke to last week were of the same vein.

C'mon Fax lift yourselves & give us something to cheer about please.

How the helll is it giving us an advantage?

Rovers must of brought 500 to the Shay in the rail cup, i myself brought a 17 seater that is a lot of money put your way, money you arnt returning to us by turning up today. That is no long term advantage to us. I said it last time but changed my mind but when we next play at the shay im not putting my hard earned your clubs way you can shiiiite

Can't believe what I'm reading! I hope it's the minority not attending. I will be there along with the 6 or 7 of the lads I usually go with. I've heard fev games are quite heavily policed now (which is a shame) but very little chance of a repeat of last year. Get off your s and support the lads!

I didn't see any of the trouble in our previous encounters, so i can't comment. It's bound to take time for everyone to feel comfortable but rest assured the club are working tirelessly to route out the scum.

Hopefully a lot of you will make it over today to create a cracking atmosphere for what promises to be a cracking game. Think your lads will be well up for this one, especially after the NRC game.

You mis-interpret what i wrote dingdong, i meant it'll give your players the advantage on the field. Take it however you like 'cos I'm not too fussed about you anyway, I've sent my apologies to my Fev mates already today via text for my non-attendance at the game. I'm one of the Halifax supporters who actually admit to knowing some decent Fev supporters, ask around, there's a few of your lot who know me, though I feel we may have met previously this season if you're who I think you are.

You'll be lucky MM, expect Morrison and Divorty to up their games against us, but if our middle unit play as well as they did against Wigan (Dickens, Kaye, Lockwood 138 tackles, 0 missed i heard) i think you'll be in for a long afternoon.

my post maybe came across a bit aggressive it just annoys me that we put a lot of money other clubs way then we get this in return, i myself through taking 17 people through in the cup game put 17 x £15 there way plus a lot more in drinks even though that doesnt go to them. Next time we play there i will take the same 17 to the rovers clubhouse and give them our money

I knew what you meant but still dont see what an advantage to our club is when we put thousands your clubs way and you put hundreds our way, i know which i would rather have. The support for the players or lack of it wont make any difference they are professional players and i very much doubt it will have any effect on the result
