The tone and arrogance in Carney's voice was disgraceful and massively disrespectful to Halifax in my opinion. There's not a problem with him thinking Fax won't get in SL, but there's ways of putting it across for the public. I think there's only 2 ways you'll get in, that is a) by replacing us (obviously I hope that doesn't happen) or b) Crusaders have another financial meltdown. Unfortunately for yourselves (or even Wakefield) I can't see the rfl increasing the league and they've had their masterplan of promoting Widnes come hell or highwater this season.

It isn't exactly going ' swimmingly ' is it , part of the problem is you are focusing too much on next season , instead of just getting on with trying your best this season , it realy needed a " we will be looking at all our options for next season behind closed doors and will not be making any announcements until september , we want the fans to enjoy this season and will be doing all we can to make it a successful one " type of announcement

What a complete t0sser. think he should apologise to the club (who have worked bloody hard putting our bid together) on next weeks show.

I do too, I have sent an e-mail to skysports saying this. He is entitled to an opinion to be say this in this manner on television smacks of a lack of awareness. I have said he should explain that he has no idea about the strength of the bids from Halifax or any of the Superleague clubs, nor does he have any influence over the decision making process.

Why on earth does this KN0BHEAD think he has the right to try and derail our efforts for no apparent reason? As someone else said, he was utter e as a player too!

Just watched it. Where the Hell did that come from? Who does he think he is to pass such a statement. Maybe all this air time sky have given him has gone to his head. Either that or spending an afternoon having tea and cakes with old uncle mo a couple of weeks ago has made him deluded.



I won't swear, he isn't worth that much, so To quote one famous tv presenter from Yorkshire, all I'll say is POTATO!



He needs to apologise for expressing a view like that without any reason or need.

I also e-mailed sky sports saying pretty much the samething, reallly do think they should mention this on next weeks programme. He's entiltled to his opinion but what on earth gives him the right to talk about our club and our bid like that especially when he has no idea about our bid or any of the super league bids!!!
