Its a shame somebody from the club doesnt come out with a monumental slating of the rfl in the press to try get us some publicity/support

I know the club cannot sue the RFL. But there's nothing to stop a group of fans doing it. Surely some no win no fee ambulance chaser would be up for that!

At the very least you can put them on the stand and try to explain the corrupt decisions!

If Mike Riley's said that in the paper, I think it just shows he's as despondant and gutted as the rest of us. We've done everything that's been asked but instead we'll be dangled a promise of "maybe next time" by the fat controller and his cohorts. Don't believe super league is the promised land it's made out to be, but it's pretty obvious we are moving towards an nrl-system of feeder clubs (with dual-reg players especially - this is a joke) and staying in the championship is just not sustainable in the long term. Well done to the club for giving it your best shot - just a shame it has always been a rigged game from the outset.

RL doesn't seem to be in it's greatest state at the moment. In 1895 we broke away from Union to form what is now known as Rugby League. Maybe now it's time to break away again with Rugby League Version 1.2 BETA.

They can't kick the Crusaders out anyway - they owe the RFL £700,000!! Not that they'll ever get that back anyway. Still, I rest safe in the knowledge that our sacrifice will mean the successful expansion of the game into Wales and the fair City of London.

we gave up cos the rfl gave up on us.we will get a pathetic mention tomorrow (cos they have to be seen as pretending to do things fairly and giving everyone a chance) but nothing more.

its a disgrace that money after money is thrown at london and wales and great historic clubs like ourselves are just basically cast aside.lewis and wood are a couple of complete muppets and i shudder at where they are taking our game,they are gonna be the death of some great clubs.

the directors who took rl to wrexham are in the process of selling the club and the ground is being transferred to the local college.



There is no way that the RFL will get their money back. If the club goes into admin because it can't pay its loan debts to the RFL - the rfl cound end up paying the rates on the stadium - its a disaster waiting to happen. look on the link on the other thread

First of all, can we have the good manners to refer to him as Mike or Mr Riley.



The amount of work he and his fellow workers put in entitles him to a bit of courtesy



Secondly the club have not given up as the silly title implies.



Mike has said that the best we can hope for NOW is that either Harlequins or Castleford, who he THINKS will be given one year to put their acts in order will fail and we will go up in 2013.



I am quite sure the board on many occassions have explained to the RFL what a good set up we have and what SL means to our club. Indeed our initial application was outstanding and it is no ones fault (except the RFL) that their promises will not be honoured.

What promises were made ?. I havnt seen anything regarding promises from rfl.
