Completely different. You can't directly influence the outcome of the game. A player can. I'm not saying Rob did this to win any of his bets however it just smacks of sheer stupidity for him to bet against the team he plays for.

I guess it does smack of stupidity. I'm with others on this. If he stands to make a couple of quid out of a loss it would hardly make him drop a ball on purpose. I'm prepared to give the guy another chance and if the BOD support him I'll shout him on just as always, if the BOD decide to end his contract then so be it, I'd understand and we move on, I certainly wouldn't expect he would get any grief from fax fans when he returned with another team.
