Hate to say this but when RL was a sport, whoever topped the league were champions and promoted.

No but, as Haighy put, you not think it COULD rile up the other teams thus costing you £50,000 in the final or something as it would spur them on? Granted that's looking at it a bit in black and white, i'm well aware that if Fev don't win the final it's not because of some t-shirts

but i'd like to think you know where i'm coming from ala Calland's 'Country mile' jibes.



On the face of it, it is a bit picky, it's not like the league 'matters' anymore as much as it used as the RFL have sought to that, but i'd personally feel uncomfortable if Halifax did that and if we did (or Wigan did) I would guarentee a heated discussion on a number of forums about it being wrong etc of which Fev fans would be part of prior to this year. I'm sure you can't deny that...



It's nothing to do with Fev taking anyone lightly either, i'm sure your team and fans are as up for it as the rest of us.

I doubt it would be the fuse to fire up our opponents really, i think most fans and players come to that, at this level will know full well the tight ship clubs have to run and will full understand that you have to take any opportunity you can to raise income. We may well not win the GF and as you say if we dont i doubt that will be the reason. Callands comment will of fired the opposition teams up initially but that wasnt the reason you didnt win the GF

Maybe the merch should have read 'League Champions'? As far as getting the RFL involved, why bother?
