Yes he in most instances the games are all finishing at the same time.



I think if he's done anything that does question his commitment his position will be untenable chiefly with his own teammates who won't want to lose win bonus.



To supporters I'd say leave this to the club, the lads he lines up with will have a better idea than the rest of us.

Well I can't say I've ever thought his work rate was questionable, just his catching, but as I've said more than once I feel he didn't get as much support as other teams wingers seemed to get.

I think some people make most of their money through win bonuses, this might have been a case of covering himself against the loss of this money? Win or Loose you get money.

At this moment in I am not feeling betrayed by Rob, I think he has been stupid, naïve, possibly down to getting a good wage and craic at Fax, but not being part of a full time squad, therefore having too much time on his hands, he certainly doesn't need more time in the Gym, and his work rate has always been good.



He's not done a KP and told the opposition how to beat us, and I don't believe he would ever put on a Blue and White shirt and intend to lose, I think he's just been incredibly stupid, I agree and like Littlerichs comment, akin to do not underestimate how stupid people can be, and in this case RL players.



Its one time the Clubs silence has met with my approval, the less said about this the better, let him serve the ban and trust the Club to deal with it in house. We may not have seen Robs best moments, he's got better year on year, I don't want him hounded out or persecuted without knowing all the facts, something probably only Rob knows.



I saw him at Batley, spoke to him, you could see and hear he is itching to get back playing, for us, and I very much hope this is Brain Farts of The Century and perhaps Rob needs to take up Golf and delete a few Apps on his phone.

Twice at Sheffield, was it last year? Rob was badly exposed, they bombed him, he had an awefull game, but, as you quite rightly say no one was there to get round him, impede the runners, he was left on his own.

In fact Rob was/is? always looking for the ball, indeed someone said on another post that they wish Peter Fox would go looking for the ball "just like Rob"

Sheffield away in't cup. Clean through with only the fullback to beat and teamates on either side of him. Took the tackle chance gone. I walked out of that game absolutely furious.

Are the Halifax RLFC board of directors prepared to continue with Rob's ( i presume ) contract payments for his "banned" period, bearing in mind it's for the remainder of this season ?



For the record, i would screw his contract up & throw it away, surely he's breached some issues within it.



Regardless of what i think of Rob as a bloke, i've done a little bit of coaching with him in the past, regardless of what i thought of him as a Fax player & as an opposition player, he's flaunted the rules initially and reading the extra's he was foolish to appeal in my opinion.
