I played and to a reasonable level for 20 years. In my last ever game I asked to substited of because of a tackle I made. It wasn't dirty, it was hard but fair. The opponent had just put a big shot on me in the previous set, so I put a big hit on him. He had an epileptic fit following my tackle. I think about it every day.

I can accept that but that hit has no place in the game we love and if some bellend was clapping a seriously injured player off then the red mist would descend, and yes I would have let myself down but I would have done the same if one of ours had done the same if it was reversed



Our game is hard and is played by brave men, cowards can have a field day but have no place in our game. You had the skill and fitness to win tonight but were let down either by individuals or a gameplan

Were these idiots from Leigh at the Shay match? Yes, stuff like this has no place in the game but Barlow is one of the worst offenders at this kind of "attack". Why is it him that's always at the centre of controversy?

At the risk of repeating myself, anyone who does this on a pitch should be punished. Sam was rightly sent off in that game and it was up to the rfl the punishment he recueved, the same will occur with manning. I have never defended a player irrespective of team who behaves like that on the pitch.

idont often blame Refs , but I think Leatherbarrow lost Control of the game early on , Bracek would make a good Aussie all the mouthing he does with Fieldmouse not far behind him .



As for the game it was a War at times , from both sides , but the challenge on Sam WAS off the ball ,the Ref seemed to be about to put it on Report

then all hell broke out from BOTH sides ,I think BOTH players should have been sent off , I agree the game is not tick and pass , but the challenge on Sam was terrible , maybe a bit of revenge , but that's not needed in our game .



Leigh are a better Rugby side than Fax and the gap will widen even more next season with the Funding money as 3rd spot for Fax may now be optimistic , I was happy with the result , but not with Fax and their tactics .

To be fair the tactics you deployed at the Shay were very similar "tit for tat"





Don't think we are far behind you and the result could have gone either way. At one stage it looked like it was ours for the taking. Only for a error to put you back in front





As for next season who knows we might have a backer by then

Chazzer , as I said it was a close game , whatever our tactics were in the game at the Shay , doesn't mean it was OK for Fax to do the same Last night .



The game was really in the balance for a while ,I agree a Fax error gave us the game , that's life Leigh were out on their feet last night ,which is what I predicted would happen ,and my prediction of a very close game , I still think a fresh Centurions team would beat Fax 9/10 times ,we may struggle again on Sunday ,but whatever happens your top 2 spot has gone now , and for me the League Leaders Shield is ours ,Charlie knows .
