Ok, last nights' defeat was disappointing, but, if we are to lose any game over the next 3 weeks then last night was the one to lose!! We were never going to win the CC, and a bit of extra money would have been handy if we had won and got a plum draw in the next round, but we could have just as easily ended up playing London home or away or Catalans at home!! And a cup run would have served to tire the squad also



I would much rather win at Dewsbury in the NRC, then bring the 3 points home from Bramall Lane in a fortnight!!

Good luck to Sheffield next round but it will mean they will have to play the league game midweek now which makes it 3 games in 7 or 8 days which is always tough.

How do we keep good players ? Giving them regular first team rugby, paying what we promise to pay and not renegotiating contracts halfway through the season, keeping them happy in a pleasant working environment
