I went today and thoroughly enjoyed it. Town were terrific particularly the centre forward Dean. It was a great crowd and I have to say that the atmosphere was the best I've experienced at the Shay this year. Now they've hit the top I hope they can stay there and hopefully be parading the championship trophy in two weeks time.

Note to the council though - sort out the on street parking near the ground for Saturday afternoons a two hour limit isn't enough!

I hope this thread stays positive and complimentary. We can be civilised on this side of the fence.

Town deserve credit for their performance and the crowd were fully behind the team all game.

I thought there looked to be more than 3152 to be honest, the SS was as full as most Fax matches and the East Stand looked impressively busy also.

I wish the footy all the best and on today's performance they more than deserve promotion and the following they have should see them there.

Well done FCHT and the supporters, hope to see some more of you at Fax games sometime.

Not having a pop at FCHT as, TO ME PERSONALLY, they are totally irrelevant but they are already crowing on their site with comments like "rugby town my !"



It's just one game and probably their biggest for years.



League home averages so far:



FCHT = 1,335 (while playing at the top of their game and heading for promotion)

FAX = 2,364 (while playing at nothing like their potential and having had a terrible string of results)
