Very true FFM ,every team is capable of beating each other, I can't wait for the season to start.

We seem to have assembled a more balanced squad this close season , I am really looking forward to new season , there is gonna be some really close games as every side seems to be stronger

I have a small wager on us lodged at 40-1, which I guess I don't really expect to cash in on, but regard as a great "value" bet. 40 goes at it, I'd expect we'd come out on top at least once with the team and coach we have?



A little better than Mr Jagger's 1-1 bet with Charlie!!



The Championship looks good for next year, most teams have strengthened (I fear for a couple), and it should be a cracker!!

Don't understand why Fev are fancied above Fax. A 1, 6, 7 of Craven, Briggs (allegedly) and Thackeray sounds very good but I just don't see them competing in the forwards. With the exception of Griffin and Bostock their pack looks extremely average. Doesn't matter how good your halfbacks are if you are soft up the middle.

Sparky look how wrong I was with my prediction ,this year I think the Championship Clubs won't be taken by surprise as much by Fax,your New recruits are at best average by other teams new players,it will be much harder for Fax next season .Leigh stand out head and shoulders above the rest,Bradford will be strong , I'm not sure about Sheff and Fev,though I like the look of Dews for next season,my bet with Mr Jagger ?I wish I could treble it, I think he made the bet out of Bravado rather than good judgement,but sometimes those bets pay off , though not this time.

I'm really looking forward to next season,I feel Fax have gone for quanitty not quality next season,and it may be a negative tactic,I hope I'm wrong as I think Rich Marshall is a good Coach, I'm just a bit baffled at why you haven't spent your Funding cash on a couple of quality players.

That will be a first then Pete as he's NEVER done it in the past, we played Fev around 5 times during the season before last including the Grand Final he only scored 1,2 at the most against us that year,and last year he was very invisible,when Kay and Brierley were running riot against Fev.And you have that other world beater Gaz Moore
