Have to laugh that the Town fans are so stupid that the person they decide to mimic is actually a Leigh fan rather than a Fax fan. To be fair as well I thought it were some of Charlies best material in a while.

I hate the actions of the people involved and the lack of actions by those who gave then free passage on their sites to do it but not the club.

My view is - I'm not going to let a tiny handful of child-like adults cloud my view over a home town sporting club. A successful football club is good for the town. A successful rugby club is good for the town. Skimming the lumpy scum off a jug of custard is easy - just apply that sentiment and the minority lumps will dissipate in your consciousness.

Swap custard for sago and you're about right. I like custard!

I dont get this "just because a sporting club comes from Halifax/Calderdale you have to support them" or "wish them well". Soccer/Football is a sport that bores the hell out of me. same as Rugby Union. I couldnt care less about either sport or the teams that play it. I couldnt give a stuff what the Pubteam or Union team do or what troubles/success they have. Why should somebody from Halifax feel pressurized from others to follow the Football team?

Now there's a problem. I like Custard (with skin) and Sago. But which ones better (quote Harry Hill)

You don't have to "support" other Halifax sports teams. But there is no need to be negative about them.



I only watch and "support" rugby league, but I wish the other local sports teams well.

Im kind of indifferent to Town really. Im not too fussed one way or another, it wont bother me if they struggle like I wouldnt be jealous if they were doing well. Maybe that would change if they were playing in a decent league but we probably wont see that in my lifetime.

I would like to see us in Super League, Town in The Football League, a good quality Halifax Rugby Union side and a Cricket team called Halifax playing in a top competition.

I have no interest in Union or football, (I love cricket) but I would like the town of Halifax to be recognised by other than it's failed Bank.

That is why I cannot understand some Town fans wanting us to go bust, why?

Halifax is just another town full of Leeds Utd fans anyway.
