I take the point above about Jackson taking the man on the ground but both offences warranted a Red Card and he couldn't have sent Jackson off after what had happened previously. He just lost total control of the game for both sides he was crap.

There were a few forward passes, but from both sides, the last haven try was from a blatant forward pass directly in front of us, even the haven fans around us didn't believe the touchy missed it. Then we scored from a huge forward pass. Even themselves out???

For what its worth i enjoyed my trip to haven for the first time ever! the last few times i have been i said never again! however, we know the drill now, Morrisons for lunch, then off to the game, and we won.....









twas a very scrappygame, Haven are obviously in turmoil, the Haven fans sat around us were predicting how big there loss was going to be before the game, they were however very friendly and had a good sense on humor



The game aside the best moment for me was when Haven did not take the 2 points in the opening minutes and fax went up the other end and scored, two haven fans sat at the back of the stantad were hurling some rite abuse at Stokes, he turned around and stared at them for a good 3 minutes, if looks could kill they would have been set in stone, to His defense he did send out the signal for two, the players ignored it, then when Haven did score later on Stokes turned around and shouted up to thew fans,your quite now nd gave them another hard stare!



I have never seen a coach eyeballing and shouting at fans like that before! me thinks he is a man under fire!



Back on the filed a job well done in a very scappy game.

Yes at last I have seen us beat Whitehaven (I missed last years win) at the Rec.

I did see us beat Kells that time in the Cup so have seen a Fax win there.



I have to say it could have been more and if we had not got sucked into the 'dirty stuff' for a while and had a Ref who had b*lls we would have beat them by 50 plus.

Good support up there today from Halifax, if the crowd was only 1100 there must have been 250 to 300 Fax fans well done all. I alwasys said they were punching above their weight and will drop back to wher they belong one day, Barrow are the big boys in Cumbria and if Worky got their act together they are bigger than Haven.

We had some star performers out there especially the pack we really put it to them. My one complaint is how the Ref can let a team just go out to attack our players and get away with it!

Aizue much improved, thought it was a good performance from the team really. Branighan is all the difference - much better when he plays. Black back on song, makes a huge difference. Mattinson was a disgrace, how Laughton didn;t see that I don't know. Disgusting.
