I was told yesterday by a very reliable source that Ben Crooks maybe heading our way, I think this would be a great signing. Young, English and obviously full of talent but just lost his way under Radford. What are your thoughts?

Yes would be a great signing, think Powell would improve him greatly....Radford looks to have destroyed his confidence.

Crooks is a centre. He has played on the wing but centre is his best position. Most Hull fans would be sorry to see him go, even if the coach wouldn't.

Richard Owen signed for Wakefield until the end of the season. He's not on loan.

Gibson's a centre and Owen is Wakefield player until the end of the season. Ben Crooks is a centre as Diogenes says.

Needs to bulk up according the Radford.

Also had the heads up that Andy Ellis from Fev is in advanced talks with us. I can see the logic in this as I don't think Milner has shown enough this year. I think Clarky being so good has taken the emphasis away from Milner's frailties. He was poor to say the least on Thursday. Ellis is very well thought of at Fev and I'm sure he could make the step up with Powell's guidance.
