| Ive watched the academy alot this year and i can honestly say thats the worst ive ever seen them play! Full credit to wakey they didnt let the cas team ever get into a rhytm during the game and did the little things better than us!!!
On another note thou id still say brierly is a better prospect than southernwood from what i saw today, he seemed to not want to get his hand on the ball as much as brierly and he called the linesman a wucking fanker for giving a try which was 100% the correct decision and he knew it!

Probably about 1100 I think. Main stand was the main area and that wasn't full. Plenty of empty seats. And there were about 50-60 people dotted around the rest.

He needs to cut that stupid thing off the side of his head though! What is it with the youth of today and bad hair?

| I was very disopointed with both teams i was expecting a better standerd to be brutley honnist apart from the hooker and maybe the loose foward for Wake and the for Cas nobody else will even come close to playing first team rugby.I heard so much about Wake 6 but to me he as the skill but it he his 4 stone to light i was sat next a scout from Wire he roughly said the same as me.

| Thank god the Warrington scount has nothing to do with Wakey or Cas. I presume that he is not impressed with Tompkins at Wigan either because he is to small.
Several of the boys on show were 16 / 17 year old, they may well grow.
I think last night was a big occasion for both sets of lads. 1000 plus people, a top of the table clash, just a bit of pressure.
I was very impressed with all four wingers, they all showed that they could beat a man on the inside and outside and finished very well.
The Cas 12 and Wakey 13 were great, fantastic work rates, great defence, non stop all action.
Wildey for Wakey, the number 7 was great, he took the line on, he had good support runners and took the attack forward. And that was the main difference between the teams. The Cas 9 and 13, Harris and Milner jumped out from acting half and then went on lateral runs, they did not take the attack forward.
The other difference was that the Wakey props had great games, thay looked fit and strong and held their line in defence. The Cas props looked unfit, they took the ball up well but were poor defenders around the ruck. As a result, Milner was having to step in to help and this created the space and time outside for the Wakey 6 to do as he pleased. His try scoring passes to his wingers were real skill.
All in all some realy good lads on show.
I could do a better job than the Warrington scout.

| Who was the Cas number 16? He tackled his backside off when we came on. The Wakey hooker's runs from dummy half were killing us. Thought he did a good job from the marker positions.

Didn't Wildie play hooker mate, the no 7 was Tom Henderson?
Think the Warrington scout ought to pack in and start stacking shelves in a supermarket or something, if he didn't see real potential in at least a dozen lads out there on the field last night. Southernwood and Wildie are both pretty small in frame, but are great with ball in hand and more than able in defence, they both have great futures IMO.
Thought Danny Cowling ran really strong all night and caused Cas all sorts of problems out wide and notched a brace of tries and Will Colleran at full back was just about faultless and also has huge potential.
