Brilliant effort Cas, unfortunate way to bow out but you went with a fight. Wish my own team had shown that level of pride towards the back end of this season! Thoroughly enjoyed the game, was gutted for you guys at the end.

Great effort tonight, we oh so nearly spoilt the scripted party. My guts and ribs are killing me and i've pulled my back out with the strain of shouting so much, my voice has virtually gone, me and my lad got on the telly at least twice, M62 shut so detoured 40 mins out of our way on the journey home. Gutted, happy, sad, emotional, proud all at once. First time in a long time i've felt like a Cas fan again watching a proper Cas side. Full of guts and effort and doing their utmost to beat the odds!

How did Adam Milner play ?

I haven't seen much of him in the Academy, only the highlights on the official site but he always looks impressive.



Should be a certainty to make the England Academy side to take on the Aussies later in the year.

I thought he had a cracker mate. Gunna watch the match again tomorrow and wanted to see more in detail how he and Walker played. Both seemed to play really well but i've had one attempt at watching the re run tonight but can't stomach Eddie and Stevo waffling on! lol

Easy to forget as he seemingly hasn't played all year but James Evans isn't a bad centre. Also I know its been said on here before but Fozzard surely is't the player we need.

Have to say a very gutsy display from your boys and you probably deserved something out of the game but I guess the end was a fitting league sign off for Knowsley Road.

Bad luck - you really pushed them all the way and just fell victim to Saints' unique ability to score two tries in 90 seconds. Over at the Wire we'll now have to put up with a week of Saints fans gloating about their record over us at KR, but the look on their faces when you went level at 30-30 was a study in terror!
