This season is over for other teams but its' just getting interesting for us.



Will talk about next season after this one is done.

You're looking good for 4 in a row.

Fingerscrossed GH etc don't share your short term otlook.

You don't need to cross your fingers because as you're patently aware they've already signed new players for next year's squad.



Now, how about the game to earn the League Leaders shield tomorrow, or the impending playoffs, or the brilliant simmering rivalry with St Helens or the quest for an unprecedented 3rd championship in a row (SL era)?



Plenty to discuss before getting ahead of ourselves.

We will need some good centres.



With Senior near the end of his days at Leeds and Smith on his way out, we need to have either good youth comming in or a good singing.



Not sure who but this is an area of the filed we will become weak in unless we get good replacements.

Calm down dear, the point of the thread was to allow folk to discuss whether we are strong enough or need to sign anyone else. If you aren't interested, then don't post....sorted.

My signiture shows the squad for 2010. The questions next to Ratu and Broughton, are whether they are leaving or not.

and for me this looks like the best balanced squad we have had for some time.



If I'm being really picky we might miss some of Smiths versitility in terms of covering so many back positions, but with a salary cap / limited squad numbers etc that is probably a luxery we couldn't afford....



It's nice to be going into the crucial stage of the season with everything still to play for and optimism about next season as well.....

The positions he covers are covered by other players!!

2009 was a disappointment for me (on the recruitment front) I'm glad Hetherington has been rather more pro-active this year looking forward to 2010. I didn't think Eastwood would be coming at all but as it now appears that he is that will make a big difference to the front row options.



That squad will take some beating and with the likes of Watkins and Jones-Bishop finally able to challenge the future is very promising.
