When Wigan were buying all the trophies in 80's & 90's they had such arrogant fans. It now appears that a league leaders trophy has increased the expectancy and they should be given everything again.
Well from last night they got most things but couldn't beat a below strength Leeds even with a 14 point lead
Does Pat Richards ever take a kick at goal from the correct place.
The allaged foul by Sinfield on Fielden was in right centre position but the kick was taken from middle of the field. Similarly the final penalty should have been 20 yards further back for MacGuires obstruction. Also I believe the penalty at 14-0 missed
Buderus on report for spear but not Prescott, what's that all about
Tomkins cheating and a 9-5 penalty count. what else do they need to win
After the Lindsay era it was always an ambition to beat Wigan in a major final but it can't happen this year
We accepted our CC final defeat gracefully so please do the same for now. They have a good side & could turn us over in 2 weeks but the fans !!!!!

Common sense, and the weight of history, suggests they go for Warrington again if the two home teams win next week.
Given Saints got beaten in the last ever game at Central Park however, the chance to return the favour might be difficult to resist. |

I'm not even sure Wigan will beat KR! all the hype all the expectation. Plenty of ar$es falling out?

Given that Leeds successes have come in an era governed by a salary cap which they haven't breached (unlike some clubs west of the Pennines), I'd be grateful if you could explain how it is in any way "ironic". |
