Any news on injury front for Friday nights game Iv got everything crossed archurch not to be in squad

Going by Pete Smiths twitter it seems Moon & Ferres are the closest to returning but maybe not this week.

I expect us to be unchanged v ST's but id drop Achurch bring in Bsldwinson & play Singo at 13.

I'd keep JJB at 13 if at all possible. Defending in the middle means he can take our line up quickly, something you can't always do defending at 2nd row

Injuries or not if Achurch is ever allowed to pull on a Leeds 1st grade shirt again after his display V Hull than it will almost beggar belief. At least when you know you are down to twelve defenders you can make adjustments.

Sorry but Achurch was not our worst performer on Friday night. The critisism of him is going well out of proportion. Is he value for money? hell no at the rumours. But he was not the worst on Friday, and he was one of the better the week before.

Agree with this. Don't think he was particularly bad on Friday, nor was he particularly good. Didn't think anyone was that bad on Friday to be honest.

He was badly at fault for two of their tries, but aside from that did ok

Not defending Achurch on this point as I haven't seen their tries again, but I think our main problems in defence come from getting killed at the play the ball. Often leaving us scrabbling in defence.

Yes we have regularly been allowing opposition sides to quick PTBs before our markers are set.

And we have yet to see a game this season where we dont concede at least one try within our own 20 from someone allowing that quick play of the ball, the dummy half shipping a pass inside and a simple, untouched, stroll over try conceded.

Green try - Singleton goes up to take Watts. Achurch identifies Green as being his man, points but then just stops and leaves a huge hole for Watts to put on the little tip on play. Wasn't a mis-read, wasn't a scattered defensive line, he just looked like he took a look at Chris Green and decided he didn't fancy it.



Yeaman try - Pritchard takes the offload on half-way, gets on the outside of Mullally while Achurch next to him just stands and watches. Our 19 year old winger scrambles back to bring him down, Hull score off the next play with the kick.



There are times when he gets a big man running straight at him where he looks like he just doesn't want to take the contact. Whether that's a confidence issue or a problem with previous injuries playing on his mind I don't know, but a big forward who doesn't like contact is no use to anyone.

Ablett does that very same thing plenty of times in a game. Hence why I think Achurch is coming in for over the top critisism in comparison to others.

Ablett puts a lot more into the positive column to counteract the occasional negative. Not sure Achurch does the same.

Achurch is one of the biggest wastes of space ever to pull on Rhinos jersey - he is useless. He has the physique to be a strong running 2nd rower, but he has the heart & guts of a pea.

He is spineless , as we have seen on numerous occasions - he should no longer be anywhere the first team squad, no matte how many injuries we have.

You will get more effort from a kid playing 15/20 minutes than you will from this spineless, injury prone Aussie.
