| Wrong: Myler is in the squad just won't be in the 17 man team.

This is the best line I have heard since a Wigan fans screamed "I effing hate Kevin Brown, all he can do is score tries."

It's often levelled at McGuire too and it's a sign of complete ignorance from anyone who uses it.
As if scoring tries and exceptional support play is somehow not a fantastic attribute for a half back to have!! If it were so easy I wonder why so many other halves don't do what McGuire does?
It's actually a sign that a half back can read a game better than anyone else if he's on the end of so many of those breaks. I can't speak for Myler but I know McGuire does much much more anyway but, even if he didn't, he'd be an amazing half with just that aspect to his game.

| Big fish, small pond to small fish, bigger pond.
Not all players take to it straight away. Give him time though, this is really only his second season at this level.

It was!!!!
Been a great squad member this year, weighing in with a good try return, and assists, despite missing a chunk of the season with a bad injury.
As fans (of either side) we have to respect the coaches team selection. Smith has picked a side with subs, which he thinks will beat your lads, hence Myler's omission. Come half four tomorrow, I hope his team selection has been found to be correct.
For once in my 30+ years of being a Wire fan, my coach has had a dilema on which side to pick, with regards to having too many good players available. Colin Montgomerie will have the same decission to make on Sunday afternoon.

| It is a big plus point for Leeds that Mylers not playing because he is more of an attacking threat than Clarke who i presume the choice was between seeing that monnas is playing 7. Jon Clarke isnt likely to create something out of nothing or race 50m to score a try, however I think Myler is. Also Monnas is a much better 9 than he is 7 and is probably the form 9 in SL this season.
I think that Tony Smith has gone with a bigger team that will try and bully the Streamlined Leeds pack rather than play there natural game which could be there downfall.
Although there are several players i would have prefered Smith to have dropped instead I am now more confident that Leeds can win this game.

Pay no attention to the idea that Monaghan will play scrum-half. TS has picked 17 players to win the cup, and the formation will be fluid enough to allow Monas to fulfill the dummy-hald playmaking role that he has made his own. Higham is hardly a heavyweight compared to Myler, so this switch is no way a 'bullying' tactic. Clarke and Higham definitely are, however, and to contradict you completely, both' likely to create something out of nothing or race 50m to score a try'.

I would be surprised if your pack minus JP and Burgess can match the wire pack for the full 80 tomorrow. Strangely I was more nervous last year as wire were 10th in the league and Hudds 3rd. We won that final,no reason why we can't win this, although most leeds fans seem to think you already have it in the bag. I hope your players take that attitude onto the pitch tomorrow.

Really?
Most Leeds fans on here think it's a really close matched final that could go either way. What we do know though is that this Leeds team has proven itself to be a champion side and unlike Huddersfield last year they'll turn up on the day and give it their all. We also know that for that reason they're not the type of team to write off in times of adversity (ask Saints).
