You seem to be mixing his WC taking part medal and his WCC losers medal up there.

Whats everyone's thoughts on this? I'd like to think that if I ever played in such an occassion the last thing I wanna do is sell my medals. I think i'd keep everything I could. On the flip side of the coin though If Keith has no problems selling them then why shouldn't he? He is after all giving a fan an opportunity to own something that is pretty unique and rather that than it go to waste??? I don't judge him for what he's doing but I also think if I was in his position it'd be an unthinkable.

As he has publicly stated, why should he have to keep medals that remind him of failure when a collecor ar a fan could put them to better use. He keeps all his winners medals/rings. Also a shirt is a shirt, im assuming he keeps his winning shirts too and gets rid of the losers shirts. I have no problem whatsoever.





He could have washed it though

Indeed. It seems as though ex-players who have fallen on hard times have carte blanche to get rid of their medals, but current pro's are slagged off by pretty much everyone for trying to ensure the same fate doesn't befall them.

I know of two high profile Leeds players one from Super League and one just pre super league that are signing on the dole at the moment.



One of these is a legend of the game.

Yet some of you fatties or nerdy geeks from the terraces feel you have the right to judge a player for cashing in on a brief career?



"Fans" of our great game really don't deserve it.
