Hauraki is the most improved player....and is far better suited to centre than Delaney, who without a doubt needs to be back in the second row. (Did BJB get one pass from him ?)



Still don't think the team will be good enough to get past Warrington (semi or final)...unless it rains heavily of course

.but so much better than the vast majority of this season.



Was actually quite impressed with McDermott's post match Sky interview tonight

End 'o' 't' day we've been there or thereabouts. Unlucky defeat in CC final and within one game (for now) of the grand final again. Those shockers against saints, warrington and catalans seem a million miles away now. That last 10 mins really takes the gloss off though. Up until then we were looking the nuts, but we showed alot of vulnerability there.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, but it's about time McDermott started to get a bit of credit. I suspect that will be too difficult for some though.



On Hardaker, he was excellent tonight. Hits gaps and hits them at pace, not a hint of self preservation.

Fair do's GMC Brian Mc has to take some credit for the upturn in form and the 1st half defence on our own line was incredible.

As for Webb he really needs to stay switched on because he cost us 3 tries tonight and gave them momentum when we were cruising.

Hardaker is gonna be a great player for us but lets not go OTT because like Watkins and Bjb before him he'll make mistakes and get hammered by some but our future back division has huge potential to keep us challenging at the top for years.

I made my judgement early in the season on McDermott after having the opportunity to talk to him and hear his views on the game. He's very insightful and interesting to listen to, I didn't think the same of mclennan. He certainly deserved more time and respect than to be called silly little names and the like, jumping on every word he said.

He seemed to get a great reception when he came to applaud the fans at the end!

McDermott was rightly criticised for some abject performances early in the season. He clearly wasnt as bad as some were saying but is he the right man for leeds going forward? Are we in a better position now at the end of this season?

And it was good to hear, he's winning a few round. I only hope those same fans didn't boo him after the Wakefield game.

Yeh it was good to hear to be fair and even then he directed it towrads the team.

I don't mind admitting i was one of the ones criticisng himafter dismal efforts against Quinns etc and then the selections etc etc but like i said above fair play to the fella he's got the team responding and playing like we know they capable of.

He is a star in the making! You will be choking on those words for years to come. He's a kid with a handful of SL games under his belt! He will bulk up in time! He has scored 4 trys against you in 2 games. I recon he will be dining out on hudds defence for years to come.

I criticised as well, I hold my hands up. You'd do well to find someone that didn't. But I never wanted him sacked. I just hope some can give credit for good performances as easily as they dish out criticism for the poor ones.
