| Quote Andy Gilder="Andy Gilder"Same starting 13 as rhinoms, but I'm going with a bench of:
Singleton
Leuluai
Keinhorst
Achurch
Don't think Delaney deserves to just walk straight back into the side.'"
From a defensive point of view Ablett would be more at risk than anyone. From an attacking point of view that would be a disaster. But someone at the club really needs to give his backside a kick to sort his defence. Wembley is unforgiving for poor defence.
Keinhorst offers absolute nothing going forward, absolute zero, so for me Achurch would be worth a shot. However, unlike Ablett, Keinhorst has worked very hard in defence last couple of games, and maybe that is a determining factor for this game.
Knowing McDermott it will be Singleton who is most at risk. He had his best game the other week, and was dropped the game after. Last night he was brilliant again, so expect the ridiculous.
However, I actually think Kylie might be luck if he escapes a charge from the disciplinary. Not sure if he has an EGP? So that could be an enforced change.

Cup final amnesty. He, and any would-be transgressors from rovers, are almost certainly ok

I would agree with ALL of this....apart from Kylie getting banned. As clearwing says there will be an amnesty ...especially for a guy with an excellent disciplinary record playing his final season with his last ever chance at featuring at Wembley.
The last of the 17 should be between Keinhorst and say saget the nod over Achurch deservedly, but he too could figure because as you rightly say Singleton does seem to be McDermott's least favourite for some reason.

| If Delaney's hamstring is ok he deserves his place over Achurch as does Keinhorst and Singleton. I would not be surprised to see Burrow start and share the hooking/half back roles with Sinfield. We have to practice the balance of time for Sinny between organizing at 9 and game managing at 6 ready for the playoffs as key players could be rested after the Saints game. Not sure playing with one halfback for half a game is a good idea.

99% agree. I don't rate keinhorst as anymore than a half decent squad player.

| It's inconceivable if not absurd that Achurch would be selected over Delaney, (if declared fit).

| Whoever gets picked, McDermott has a nice dilemma to resolve.
I just hope that we don't pick up any crucial injuries in training this week.

Singleton will be in the 17 easily. I tipped him to miss out on the semi final and so it turned out to be but their's a significant difference to him not getting picked because JJB was available filling the Loose Forward role and him potentially not getting picked over BOTH Keinhorst and Achurch.
Think 16 of the 17 are pretty much nailed on if they stay fit and the last spot is a straight fight between Keinhorst and Achurch. The key thing is does he start with Burrow as either a hooker or HB (with Sinfield to hooker) or try naming Cuthbertson there on the team sheet. TBH I'm not sure the Cuthbertson named at hooker thing should be tried at Wembley. We didn't get to see if it works that's well because of the bad conditions at Headingley last week and I don't think a Cup Final is the right time to test it properly. I know having all 3 of Sinfield, Burrow and McGuire on at the start means more defence for our guys in the middle but on this occasion we have a 4 forward bench and a very useful one at that so we can better rotate the big guys as well as them sharing the workload better in attack as we no longer need to just rely on Peacock doing the carrying in the prop department.

We need Sinfield at hooker based on his last two outings. Should be able to share it as least with Burrow jumping in towards end of sets for Sinfield to drop back.
