I agree. I thought it was refreshing to read McDermotts comments. They were spot on and honest. Still think he got it wrong on the night, but his comments after were 100% correct.

BMD was his usual honest self in the post match interview. He always calls it as he sees it in my view, but I don't always agree with his assessment. His integrity is beyond question, it's his coaching and preparation of the team I sometimes have issues with.

Totally agree. He wears his heart on his sleeve and tells it as he sees it. I don't think he was dissing Huddersfield and he credited their goal line defence with winning them the match. His comments were aimed at our squad not theirs. This was not a Cas in red hot form defeat, this was a Leeds were utter garbage defeat, was how I read his comment.

Blame that on his lack of rotation he isn't an 80 monute player anymore yet the Coach thinks otherwise.

In it's own way every bit as shambolic as the Leeds defeat at Castleford - only this time Huddersfield were also poor just as Phil Clarke and Brian McDermott were correct to point out.

Most on here are happy to turn a blind eye to his short comings because his effort is top notch - whilst it is so are his failings.

The point still remains valid the longer he stays on without a break the more a liability he becomes wrt misssed tackles & penalties.

A blind man on a galloping horse could see that JJB was shot just after half time. Why he was left on the field thereafter is anybody's guess. The same would apply to leaving Burrow and Mullally sitting on the bench until after the game had gone. Whilst I can't really say it would have made much of a difference, the very least the coach can do is throw the flaming dice.

I am confident the Burrow move would have made a difference, and not in hindsight. Despite as poor as we were, we were the dominant team up to the 50 minute mark. Despite being dominant we were not executing and making errors, it needed a change. Quite a few of us were calling that the game was crying out for Burrow to come on within that first 10 minutes of the second half.



Instead, we got a decent try dissalowed, and the players wallowed in their own self pity, and within a short period after the game was beyond us. Suddenly Huddersfield were the dominant team.



I am not as convinced Mullally would have made a difference, other than spelling tired legs, but you would still think fresher legs is better than not.

Far worse for mine tvoc, Cas are quality this year and scoring for fun, Hudds, with the best will in the world, have been poor so far this season
