| Whilst feeling sorry for Keinhorst it surely isn't a surprise that Achurch has been picked ahead of him.
Earlier in the season when both were fit, Keinhorst was plying his trade at Hunslet whilst Achurch was a regular in the Leeds 17 till he was injured at the Magic Weekend.
So he was always ahead of Keinhorst in the coach's eyes.

It might be the same lineup with Cuthbertson named at 9 as the Wigan game but I doubt we'll play like we did then. The weather made that game how it was. It will be interesting to see how this system works on a dry track but I don't think it means we'll just grind it down the middle even though we do have an extra forward on.

Funny how it works out though. Keinhorst is unlucky to miss out this time but was quite lucky to be named in 2012, a selection that didn't really work out.
Achurch I think selected because he offers more in attack and I do think we'll attack despite it being a final. I can't see a repeat of last years conservative tactics.
My worry with Achurch is that it usually takes him 4/5 games after an injury lay off to get some form going again.

| Achruch is a better forward than Keinhorst who, whilst being a game lad, is too light weight and loses too many collisions. On the other hand Keinhorst would have been able to cover the centres and his mobility defending on a bigger pitch might have come in handy.
Overall the only difficult decision and a close enough call to not criticise the coach either way.

And the problem with that is that he seems to struggle to stay fit for more than 4/5 games

| At the start of the season Achurch was great at working the right channel. Offers something different to our other second rows.

Agreed. 'Potential on paper' versus 'delivered on the pitch', this season in particular. Still, if Achurch gets crocked in his time on the pitch again, he will get to visit a different set of medics / visit a different hospital.
Sad for Jimmy.

| You want your best 17 available players at a Cup final.
Is Achurch better than Keinhorst, in the round? Yes. Therefore he's in.

Delaney is part of our best 17 yet you didn't think he should be able to "just walk back into the side".

Is an unfit Delaney still in Leeds best 17? Not IMO.
Still, it's nice to see you taking a personal interest in my opinions again rather than having ones of your own.
