Make that 6 wins out of 22 since the Challenge Cup win at Wembley, and one of those was a last second win at huddersfield. The helicopter pilot was not happy either ! - lol

Surely tongue in cheek.
What you conveniently forgot was that Vickery was gash behind a decent pack.Unfortunately Golding or any of the backs this season hasn't had that luxury.

Both "wingers" with similar build, no kick return ability and pushed back at ease. At least Golding hasn't yet crabbed fully along his own goal line to be crushed over it on the opposite wing
In fairness I did consistently say Golding might be worth a try at HB (can't be any worse than Sutcliffe) ....but I still have not seen any semblance of any sort of ability to beat a man, zip through a gap with an injection of pace, or show any natural poaching support play abilities. As I say...Joe Vickery

| Golding made a quick, elusive run on Friday just a pity he first failed to field the down field kick cleanly and then went into touch unaided before setting off.

Fev are Leeds [i'partner club'[/i.
Lay alongside shiyte, you end up rolling in it yourself.
Same applies at Hunslet.
No good comes of aligning yourself alongside GH (Leeds). Fev still have a chance if they get out quick. Too late for Hunslet.

| The problem Leeds are going to have in the middle 8's is lack of experience. Widnes, Hull KR and salford all have the experience of battling against the riled up championship teams for survival. Leeds don't, it's a different beast and I imagine it will be difficult for the leeds players, used to competing for titles to be as motivated compared to the championship teams who will be hungry for super league rugby and what will be a huge scalp.
It's also entirely possible leeds won't even play in the million game and will be relegated as a result of league position. All the super league teams have beaten us, and salford are a top 8 team who are only down there because of the point deduction. It's a false reflection of the teams actual ability which by super league standards, is decent. If salford make it to the top 8 then it only means the likes of huddersfield and widnes being in there who have both shown good ability this season. Leeds will probably finish bottom so will have unfavorable away fixtures. That's not even then factoring in the championship teams. When leeds were good in 2014 leigh almost turned them over at headingley in the CC. Then you'll proibably have bradford in there who will no doubt give leeds douzy. The current rabble are potential lambs to slaughter.
Phil Clarke said it against Cas. ''The rhinos are an endangered species''.

| You'll find a new gear in the middle 8's.
2nd or 3rd i wouldn't worry.
The championship sides are not good enough, but there is the fact Leeds are the scalp, especially for Bradford, the other 3 will really want to knock off Leeds, but even with the added motivation i still don't think the quality is there.
Leigh/Bradford/London don't have it in their locker.
