I think that there has been a massive over-reaction on here to a currently legal shoulder charge/bodycheck or whatever you want to call it.

I've no doubt that Walker did not intend to break Burgess' jaw but he surely meant to inflict pain just as our players do in reverse.

I am glad though that the boot wasn't on the other foot (as it were) & that it wasn't Walker on the receiving end of a similar challenge from Ryan Bailey.

Just imagine the uproar had that happened.

i think the reaction was purely based on the hit, i honestly dont think JW had realised just how badly Burgess was hurt, the celebration didnt actuall continue for very long, yeah it was nasty, and a clash of heads, but i doubt JW had realised that at first. There was no intention to injure Luke, it was just an unlucky conclusison to JW sprinitng 50m flat out to Burgess just hitting the ball. However, i do wish BUrgess a speedy recovery

My only issue with shoulder charges is when they make contact with the head. Then for me its an illegal hit, same as a swinging arm. SBW's on Bai in the World Club Challenge a few years back being a prime example. If they hit the shoulder/upper body I've no problem with them.

Anyway theres nothing wrong with eating out of date yoghurt, I mean what is going to be the problem with it - it contains bacteria ?



I've just eaten a full tub of creme fraiche this weekend without knowing what it actually was, I've just looked it up - its sour cream (cream thats gone off) that is encouraged to be sour by adding bacteria to it - wish I'd read that first.

Lot's of over reaction on this thread IMO, why do some people always look to blame someone when a player gets injured?, I don't think walker or burgess did anything drastically wrong, it was a clash of heads and Walker could easily be the one with a broken jaw right now.
