Its a part of the equation.
The discount for paying in advance for something that you are not going to use for up to ten months is not generous.
Its even less generous when you factor in the very good chance that you may miss one or even two games each season through holiday or illness, when you take those into account you are basically lending the club your money for free until you use it.
Factor in my situation where I am on call one weekend in three and on a Friday or Saturday could be in any town or city from Sheffield to Inverness (just north of Inverness actually) then you see that its a no-brain decision for me, its not good value at all.
For someone who wants to reserve a specific seat then yes, you have to do it, for anyone else who simply buys one out of some sense of "loyalty" then you could be a tad deluded.
