Actually, given the wardrobe choices involved in normal golf, I actually think the participants might be crazier than those in the "crazy" version of the sport. |

Why is he surprised? Is he stupid?
The conditioner will have been flogging the guys for the last couple of weeks - over and above normal levels - and now ease off up to the Storm game. The guys will be sharper for the Reds and more so for Melbourne. A dip around 2 weeks ahead of a major game is, at least in part,due to conditioning.
