Exactly as I see it. Sinfield is not the messiah for England internationally. Infact I'll go controversial and say I wouldn't have him in my first choice 17. I'd want nimble halfback in the halves and a tackling machine (O'Loughlin) at 13. Sinfield is Leeds' greatest ever captain and one of the best players Leeds have ever had, don't get me wrong, but I just see him as not quite big enough for 13 and not nimble enough for 6 internationally. Wilkin for me is just a less skillful version of the same player, as G1 said.

From what I was told Bailey was very excited about his call from McBanana. From what I hear Bailey was going to keep his phone with him. From what I heard he was VERY keen to represent his country. I can't imagine Wilkin really adjusts that either way.



And once again. From what I hear Ryan was super proud of his new and only ring.

I was sat with my mam in the Southstand (block 127 iirc ) and my mam commented at the time about TMFMISL(she calls him Bailey)'s actions . We were quite close , so we had a very good view of events . He just seemed to be giving us a double-handed 'come on' gesture to join in with his celebrations . I can honestly say that I never saw him be in anyway agressive to anybody , although he was rather animated in his celebrations . He appeared to be looking at the crowd all the time that he was dancing around .

While on the subject of sore losers and rings . Is it true that FGB has on more than one occasion thrown his loser's ring into the crowd ? If so , how is that any better than putting it on ebay ?

That's the dilemma with Sinfield at international level. If he plays he has to lead the team & the team need to be able to dominate the opposition for him to be effective, which against Aus/NZ we are not good enough to do, so you need the best SO or LF we have available.

I know he has thrown at least one to the crowd. Different to putting it on ebay, at least he has given it to a fan who has made the trip to old Trafford only to see them lose again, rather than making money off it on eBay.

No . He has just thrown it into the crowd . Anyone could have caught it . Selling it on the bay would mean that somebody that really wanted it got it . FGB could have then done whatever he saw fit with the proceeds wether ib be for personal gain or a charity donation .

Also this was the game u pick players that could push there way in ie Bailey,ablett,cudjoe but instead picks the usual tried and tested what will he get out of this game apart from a big win if your not going 2 give the squad players a chance
