I believe that because you see your teams players every week they become bigger "names" than the mystery players from other teams. Because of that there is an expectation that "on paper" we look a better team than some others when in reality we're worse. There is the possibility that Furner was getting the best he or anyone else possibly could out of that squad. Furner might be a good coach with the wrong set of players.

Well if there is no appointment in the next two or three games let's see if Agar gets a new coach bounce out of the players. After all that's being said about Furner wanting a number of them out.
