Diskin had a fine season btw, resulting in him being deservedly selected for GB. I know that much. I just can't remember anyone suggesting, ever that Diskin was the player of the season.
My top 3 from that year was:
McGuire
Bai
Mathers
Furner and Sinfield probably coming 4th and 5th.'"

Well it's off the GP today to see if I can get my foot removed from my gob then.
Update: He says surgery may be required!
But on a different note I cannot believe McGuire did not win player of the year! Everything he touched turned to gold that season.
