| Go down to the last exit on the M1, just as you come off onto the A406 (north circular) there is also a slip road for Brent Cross shopping centre. The car park is free on one condition, you buy something in the shopping centre, so my advice is go into M&S and buy a sandwich.
Then from the Bus station at the shopping centre from STOP A catch the 182 bus showing Harrow Weald, it usually takes 20 mins but will probably take a touch longer because of the traffic, fare £2 per person or a black cab rank, cost you £10-£15
Hope that helps guy, i work for TfL if you want any travelling advice give us a PM, if i can help i will

| Just an add to the above, it is a fully secure car park and although there is no official sign saying you must buy something, if the security see you parking and just buggering straight off they'll clamp you(it is a CUSTOMER car park). Car park either closes at 1930 or 2000 not fully sure on that but it's at least 1930.
It doesn't have the time restriction cameras that supermarkets have either, i park there for 8 hours when working in the area.

If you are going to Stanmore car park DO NOT PARK ON THE GRASS....I live in North London and have seen people who cannot get into the car park parking on the grass. You, like them, will receive a parking ticket. I passed Stanmore Station one night around 9pm. An England soccer match was on and there must have been 50 cars with tickets on them!
Park at any station at or near the Jubilee line however, beware if you park in the side streets. Many are controlled parking zones which means:
*you cannot park between say 2-3pm
*you need a specific voucher
Read the sign on the side of the road telling you when you can park. If in doubt...don't!. I know many people who have fallen fowl of not doing this and they receive a fine. Sorry if you think I am telling you the obvious....
Brent Cross Car Park - you do not need to buy anything!! I have visited many times with my wife and not bought anything (thank goodness!) Regalia (shirts) etc may well give it away though!
The one thing you MUST do is check on line at www.tfl.gov.uk - there are loads of works going on over the weekend. There are part closures this weekend on 3 lines and the over ground trains and they change from week to week. Also, be prepared for delays on public transport. It is definitely getting better but best be prepared and give yourself lots of time.
Have a great trip down

| Hey guys, Saints fan here... Well Done on your victory yesterday - best team won.
Advice for parking for Wembley - park at HARROW & WEALDSTONE train station, take the train into Wembley and it's about a 10 minute walk to the ground.
Also parking at the station is FREE for ALL DAY parking.
I've parked there the last 3 times I've visited Wembley and found it to be excellent and really good for getting away from the majority of the traffic going towards London and also coming out of London.
Final point: I will be supporting you guys if Wire win today, but if the Cats win, i'll be supporting them!!!

sorry yes, you don't need to buy but just look like you're going to be a customer. Trust me i know if you make it look like you are just using the car park then leaving expect a clamp. I do agree though Controlled parking zones are rife especially around stations.

| I'll be parking in the free hotel car park - I know that doesn't help much but I just thought I'd let you know.
If you've got the balls go to the Green Man, they have a car park but it is marshaled on game days. Just say that you are a resident when you pull up - they don't check!

The accent & car reg could be a bit of a giveaway I'd have said, but hey, give it a whirl.

| Eh? You have to pay to park on the Green Man, nothing to do if your a resident or not. Been to wembley plenty of times in recent years and taken friends who have never been to rl and always gone and parked on the Green Man and had a great day. I suppose that if you ain't been to wembley as a Leeds fan then I suppose you don't really know what's it's like

Yes we used to do the same (long time ago) and take the tube from Harrow on the Hill which gets you close to Wembley
