| Let's be honest here it was not a head butt to give a proper head butt you grab him by the shirt collar and pull him towards you hitting his nose with your forehead as you go into you opponent I think with his past clean record being a Leeds legend SENDING OFF SUFFICIENT and I am a HKR ex player and supporter

| Kris Welham received no ban or fine and wasn't sent off for a headbutt back in February.
The precedent has been set.

| The RFL need to send a clear message out about this to ensure it doesn't happen again.
Much like the ladies who went with Nazi officers during the war in occupied countries he should have his head shaved by an angry mob in City square.
Then forced to march to Red Hall while the people lining the streets throw rotten fruit at him.
Before he then enters an early guilty plea and get's told it's sending off sufficient.

| It was a shock to see your captain do something like that but he is only human and we all snap at some stage and I am sure Sinfield was distraught after he was sent off and you could see that with the pictures of him sat in your dressing room. I'd love him to be a Cas player one day but that will never happen. It was not a full blooded headbutt as if it had been he would deserve a long ban but how many he'll get I don't know.

| I hate to see these incidents - they have no place in the modern game and do nothing for the sports image.
Incidents like this should get an auto 8 game ban, regardless of good record.
And those saying it was 'nothing' should look again. Sinny's face was the picture of anger and hatred. He absolutely meant what he was doing. This was no forehead rubbing mating ritual like you see in football he went for him.
As a side note I was also appalled to hear sections of the Leeds fans cheering and clapping as he walked off. What Sinny did was idiotic and also cost us the game. To cheer violence from a seemingly unprovoked headbutt shows a very low level.

8 games my backside! it was a little love tap. 3 game ban maximum.
Maybe there is more to the incident that meets the eye. On sky they were saying that Luke Dorn was asking for the yellow card to be shown for holding down, if that was said Dorn should have gone to the bin at the same time as Sinfield's red.

Why do some fans have such a knucklehead approach?
If he had pushed Dorns nose across his face would he then have warranted a bigger ban? Perhaps he could have added a fractured eye socket - happier then?
Maybe if it was Hock it would have been an 8 match ban yeah?
He headbutted an opponent, with intent, and he got him. All teh intent was there to cause injury. And that is before you get to the reputational damage it does to the sport.
Things like that need to be stamped out. End of. The RL need to send a message that this is not acceptable behavious.
Look at other sports. Suarez just got a 4 month ban for bitting. Not his first offence I know but what a strong message.

There are no scumbags playing professional RL in SL..
It is a contact sport that sometimes throws up mistimed tackles etc and the occassional brain fart by some of it's stars, including the most recent by Mr Hock..
.
Think it's about time, posters stop putting personal tirades about our esteemed professional players

If it has ever been more evident that someone has never played this great game then I've yet to see it. If you had ever strapped on a pair of boots you'd know what can happen in the heat of battle and you may not have noticed but Rugby League is a contact sport and is inherently violent, either live with it or maybe take up watching a more sedate sport, - chess perhaps? Saying that those boys can hit those clocks with some venom.

| Luke Dorn's after match interview was spot on. Shocked that it was Sinny but these things happen in the heat of the moment. Probable 3 match ban - 2 at least.
Leeds will survive without him for spell - no doubt.
On another note - could Rhino's Vs Tigers now be [size=150THE[/size West Yorkshire derby ?
