Not for me, his discipline makes him a liability from what I've seen of him. I'd of been tempted by Chris Hill or Trent Waterhouse over McIllorum personally. I think Ryan Hall could do a job as a prop!

Would be interesting though if he left Wigan as he wouldn't be fed on too much raw meat from Wane that has boarding on going OTT. You'd still get aggression from him as it seems his natural style but a bit less extreme perhaps.



I think the discipline also overshadows that on his day he's a very good player. Personally I thought he was head and shoulders the MOM in last years GF.

He usually is one of the top players in the big games and i can't remember the last time he did something stupid and got sin binned or sent off, he is a less liability the ben westwood but nobody says his discipline should go against him.
