Just got into Golden Void. American band. Bit like Black Sabbath but not quite as heavy. Been around for a few years by the looks of it. Great musicians.

Faux Pas, four young lads from York. Just won the centre stage competition at the O2 academy in Leeds to play the Leeds & Reading festival. Early days for them, producing their own stuff but sounding pretty good. Plenty of energy when playing live. With a little bit of The Cult thrown in for good measure. Discovered The Struts via XS Manchester when they played 'Kiss This'. Great tune.



XS Manchester have also just pointed me in the direction of 'Nathaniel Rateliff And The Night Sweats' Kind of.. southern, bluesy rock. Worth a listen

Check out a band called 'Tender'. Really chilled duo from London. A band you'd stick on in the right kind of atmosphere if you catch my drift...

I dont know if this artists fit in here, but i have to put them out there. Straight out of Toronto check out Jessie Reyez and Alan Rayman. Great Canadian up and coming artist!
