We certainly needed some help in the end. We just ran out of steam.

We ran out of strike players..... Walsh and Lomax would have had this won 3 weeks ago

I don't think winning it in the style we did was embarrassing. At the end of the day, you win the league because you have the most points at the end of it.



If, hypothetically, city win the league on the last day of the season because Chelsea lost, would people be saying that was embarrassing? Of course they wouldn't.



People get so stressed about the LLS. If you win it it's great but if you don't it's because nobody else was bothered or wanted to win it.



Apparently we are the worst team to ever win it too. But what does that say about the rest then?

We deservedly won the league. The frustrating part of the season was the manner of our defeats. Wire x2, Hull KR and Cats stick in my mind as complete copitulations. Not the sign of a truely champion team

Another Wire fan offering congratulations......For me whoever finishes top of the pile are champs....Wire won it several seasons ago scoring over a thousand points in the process and it was presented to Ade Morley at near empty stadium....Sky own the game lock stock and barrel and the only thing that matters is the day at Old Trafford....They've done their best to downgrade the Challenge Cup(because they don't have the rights) but for me it's still the trophy to win and I should think the majority of the players.

From a Wigan fan......we'll done, to top the table after the run of injuries you have had deserves praise. Gutted as I wanted wigan to win it. Deserved winners of the league, never mind the result of the money spinning play off lottery, league winners surely should be the most constant team over the year.

Unfortunately, it seems the quality of available players this year is spread more evenly although more thinly between the super league clubs & so we have more equality among the teams....has the salary cap finally achieved its aim ? But ,on the other hand, a more even spread of playing talent will mean coaches have to do more to get the weekly wins instead of being able to rely on their superior ,more expensive squads. It will show who the good coaches are as this level spread of talent will probably be the norm for the foreseeable future. Managing injuries will also be crucial so good back room staff will be vital.



On a positive ,but ironic note, the much criticised London have been relegated, but this must be their best season ever for supplying up & coming southern talent to other SL clubs.
