| How good is this kid! Saw him for England and thought he cannot be that good in the flesh, what a player he is and if it wasnt for him I feel we would have beaten you by a little more. He will be THE best scrum half in the world soon. Simply awesome.
By the way hard luck today, thought you had some harsh decisions from the ref in the last 10. Thought you were in for a pasting looking at your injury list, but your young ones look preety good, except the lad called Dean who looked average at best.

Steady, an opposition fan seeing it from someone elses point of view.
Thanks for that.
Yes, Ian Smith didn't have the best game, but our lads did us proud with their effort today, especially with all the injuries.

I am on my own by the sonds of todays crowd, but thought Smith was for us!! gave too many "levelling" penalties to us. Penalties that we should`nt really get but he felt he needed to "even things up". In saying this I think he is one of the better referees in the S.L!

As i said on another forum, today is the first time i have ever seen a team have to defend 6 sets of 6 back to back, which is what we did at the end of today's game. It was inevitable that you would win.

| have i fell into a parallel universe, saints fans are saying "we can't blame the ref" and robins fans are saying "it was the refs fault?" it seems opposition fans never can agree about referees

| hes no ball handler though, he caused us trouble all game as said above, but i dont think hes a SH, he reminds me of Rob Burrow when he first burst onto the scene, a dip of his shoulder duck under the wouldbe tackler and hes gone.

I would agree with that. I am beginning to come around to the idea that that is possibly his best position, although he did some beautiful centre work when he was there last season. Stand off is another one he will be suited to.

He gave some poor decisions for both sides, the back to one for you was bemusing as he had denied us in exactly the same scenario TWICE. He missed several forwards for both sides and allowed the PTB to be slowed down too much.
Could have been worse, it could have been Thaler.
