I just can't see the point of stating the blindingly obvious.

IMO they tried to protect Eastmond to much when he played half back by having Wilkin and Pryce share the kicking duties. What occurred was mearly indesicion about where the ball was going on the last (which seemed to continue after Long had returned?).



For me, Eastmond's kicking is pretty good and will only get better the more experience he gets. He seems to be a lad who thrives off any oppotunity and can take getting thrown in at the deep end. Make him the number one and make sure he knows its his responsibility.

longy WAS a great kicker and even kicked well in the final, but lets face it the last two seasons, meli or graham could take over and the standard wouldnt drop to far.

Found the grass every time, didn't give the wingers and full back chance to get good kick returns in and played a major part in you winning that game.



If he can produce that consistently he'll be a good kicking option.

Longy always blew hot and cold with his kicking. He had some putstanding games and some complete howlers .. the big difference being that for the past few years he's had more howlers than good games (and not just kicking)
