Yes Roberts is class, I think Eastmond is getting there, maybe Sam can give him a few pointers.



Joking apart, Roberts was the most exciting player in Superleague prior to his injury. He was top try score, top assists, top tackle busts and about third in metres made.

Ask the Wire fans about his performance there at the beginning of the season.





We rushed him back and he played quite poorly. His confidence was shot, and he got injured again, which is why I would err on the side of caution with Eastmond.

You are right about Eastmond Rogues,don't rush the kid back and the lads who have played in his place deserve a crack at playing Leeds this weekend.

Yeah remember him going off but wasn't sure if it was the same ankle. Would be a huge risk throwing him in to next weeks game but I'm sure there will be no risks taken by the Saints staff. At least I hope there wont be from a Leeds POV.

If he's fit put him in, if he's not don't risk it.

I think that even if we [ithink[/i he's fit (which is as sure as we can be without him playing a game), he shouldn't be playing his first game back in a semi. It's just too risky, especially given the momentum we've built in recent weeks.

Spot on! If the doc gives him all clear then play him, the game at leeds when he injured the ankle was a freak injury the way he fell on that ankle.



IMO if the ankle is good and his fitness is good, then play him from start.

Roberts had about 8 good weeks since he been at wigan, half th fans was calling for his head last year.



Im always happy to see him in your line up, he makes big mistakes that costs you points, just like meli.

Kyle goes to the specialist this week to see if the swelling on his ankle has gone down.........if not...the lad requires surgery and won't play again till next year!!!
